Alison Ann Sweeney (born January 6 1993) is an American actor, reality TV director, and writer. Sweeney is best known for her role as Samantha Sami Brady on the NBC soap show Days of Our Lives a role she played under contract for the series from January 6 1993 to October 30th, 2014. Sweeney eventually decided she had had enough of popular fads such as grapefruit diets and cabbage soup in 1999. Sweeney ditched diet fads such as grapefruit and cabbage soup, made healthier changes by cutting sugary drinks and started taking boot camp style gym classes. Was the outcome? She lost close to 30 pounds. Sweeney is the mother of two brothers and is Irish. Sweeney quit UCLA to be a part of Days of Our Lives after completing her studies in economics. Sweeney was married to David Sanov on July 8th, 2000, after an engagement of more than three years. After a relationship of nearly three years, Sweeney and Sanov were married on the 8th of July, 2000. The couple now has two kids. A son was born in February 2005 and a baby girl was born on January 12 in 2009. Alison Victoria (born October 31,1981) is an American actress and television host. She's the older sister of Jamie, Nicholas and Diana and of Greek-American descent. Luke Harding was her husband, and the owner an insurance company. They divorced in 2022.
