Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani woman born to an Russian father as well as mother who is a Hindu Indian mother. She speaks fluent German, Russian English and also French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to her Russian father and an Indian mother, is fluent of both Indian and Russian. A choreographed performance at age 11 which aired on German television, transformed her into the Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. When she graduated from the high school level at the age of 11 in New York, she received her bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. She studied improvisation and comedy at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was raised in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and Russian-speaking mom Olga. When she was 13, her parents divorced and she moved from Kabul, Afghanistan, to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell as well as Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. She is best known as the former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress was a regular character on the Fox series The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
